CLANTON, Ala. (AP) — The death toll from the devastating tornadoes that hit the South has climbed to 337. That makes it the second-deadliest day for a twister outbreak in U.S. history. In 1925, 747 people were killed in a line of storms that raged through Missouri, Illinois and Indiana.
